I previously set out to learn ROR but gave up when I got busy working on other projects. During the late summer I started looking into PHP frameworks and thought that Symphony might be a good idea but never pursued it any further. Yesterday, I discovered CodeIgniter when I found an article comparing different PHP frameworks.

The tutorial videos makes it appear very easy to learn and it strongly reminds me of ROR, especially the Hobo gem which was my favorite ROR extension when I was trying to practise building applications with ROR. I've downloaded codeigniter and will definitely be giving it a try.
